The ResMed AirMini HumidX Standard is a waterless heat and moisture exchanger (HME) designed to add moisture to the air delivered by the AirMini travel CPAP machine. It's a disposable cartridge that inserts directly into the airflow path between the machine and your mask — no water tank required.
This is the right pick if you use an AirMini in a typical home or travel environment and want waterless humidification without carrying a water tank. If you travel to very dry or high-altitude climates and need stronger humidification, the HumidX Plus is designed specifically for those conditions. If you use the AirMini F20 full-face mask, this Standard version is not compatible — you'll want the HumidX F20 instead.
As you exhale, the HumidX captures heat and moisture from your breath. On your next inhale, it releases that captured heat and moisture back into the airflow, humidifying the air you breathe without any added water. It's a simple, passive exchange rather than an active heating system, which is why it's well suited to travel and portable CPAP setups where a traditional heated humidifier isn't practical.
Traveling with a water-based humidifier means carrying (and potentially spilling) a water chamber. The HumidX eliminates that entirely, which is part of why it's built specifically for the AirMini's compact, travel-first design.
The Standard HumidX is designed to work well in typical home and travel environments. It may be less effective in very dry or cold climates — if that describes where you're headed, the HumidX Plus offers stronger humidification for those conditions.
If you experience dry mouth or dry nasal passages during AirMini therapy, the HumidX Standard is a convenient way to add moisture back into the air you're breathing. Reducing that dryness and throat irritation can improve overall comfort during the night, which in turn supports more consistent use of your therapy.
Replace the HumidX Standard every 30 days, or sooner if it becomes visibly dirty or damaged.

ResMed makes three HumidX variants, and picking the wrong one is a common mix-up: the Standard (this listing) is built for typical climates and works with N20/P10 connectors; the HumidX Plus is designed for dry or high-altitude environments where you need stronger humidification; and the HumidX F20 is the only version compatible with the AirMini F20 full-face mask. None of these are interchangeable with the others, so it's worth confirming your mask and typical climate before ordering.
Using the F20 full-face mask instead? See the HumidX F20 or the AirMini F20 Setup Pack with HumidX F20. Traveling somewhere dry? Compare the HumidX Plus. Round out your setup with the AirMini Filter and AirMini Tubing. Browse all AirMini Masks, or see more from the brand on the ResMed brand page.
