This Standard Water Chamber is a direct replacement for the ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet CPAP with HumidAir Heated Humidifier. It's an easily removable chamber built for heated humidification, designed to be quick to fill, clean, and maintain as part of consistent, comfortable therapy.
This is the correct replacement part if your AirSense 11 uses the HumidAir Heated Humidifier and you're comfortable hand-washing your chamber weekly. If you'd rather run your water chamber through the dishwasher instead, see the Cleanable Water Chamber for AirSense 11 instead — it's a separate, dishwasher-safe version built for the same machine. If you're actually on an AirSense 10 rather than an 11, you'll want the AirSense 10 Standard Water Chamber instead, since the two aren't interchangeable.
ResMed sells two versions of this chamber for the AirSense 11, and it's worth confirming which one you want before ordering. This Standard chamber is designed for handwashing only and should not go in the dishwasher. The separate Cleanable chamber is built to be dishwasher-safe and can be disassembled for a more thorough clean. Both fit the same AirSense 11 HumidAir system — the choice comes down to whether you'd rather hand-wash weekly or run it through the dishwasher. See the Cleanable Water Chamber for AirSense 11 if that's your preference.
This chamber is built from silicone, stainless steel, and injection-molded plastic. It has a maximum water capacity of 380 mL. To prevent water from entering your mask and tubing, use the device on a level surface positioned lower than your head's elevation during therapy.
Replace this chamber approximately every 6 months, or immediately at the first signs of cracks, leakage, discoloration, or other degradation. Each chamber includes a 90-day warranty against manufacturer defects. If your AirSense 11 is set up with the Humidifier Set function, you can use it to receive a recurring reminder to replace your chamber on schedule.

If you'd rather not hand-wash weekly, compare the Cleanable Water Chamber for AirSense 11. Pair your chamber with the ClimateLineAir 11 Heated Tube for more consistent humidification, and check your AirSense 11 Disposable Filters while you're replacing parts. Running an AirSense 10 instead? See the AirSense 10 Standard Water Chamber or AirSense 10 Cleanable Water Chamber. See more from the brand on the ResMed brand page.
No. This Standard chamber is designed for handwashing only. If you want a dishwasher-safe option, see the Cleanable Water Chamber for AirSense 11 instead.
This chamber has a maximum capacity of 380 mL. That said, some users coming from the AirSense 10 report the AirSense 11 chamber running low before morning even at the same rated capacity — this is a commonly reported experience tied to the chamber's shape rather than a defect, so it's worth knowing going in if overnight capacity matters to you.
Wipe it daily with a clean, disposable cloth, and wash it by hand weekly with warm water and mild detergent (or a diluted vinegar solution).
Approximately every 6 months, or sooner if you notice cracks, leakage, or discoloration.
Both fit the same AirSense 11 HumidAir system. This Standard chamber is hand-wash only, while the Cleanable Water Chamber is dishwasher-safe and can be disassembled for a more thorough clean.
It's not recommended. Tap water's dissolved minerals can build up as residue and lead to premature deterioration of the chamber. Use distilled water at room temperature for best results.
No. This chamber is built specifically for the AirSense 11 HumidAir system. If you have an AirSense 10, see the AirSense 10 Standard Water Chamber instead.
No. Replacement parts like this water chamber don't require a prescription. A prescription is only needed for CPAP masks and machines.
I needed a replacement for my water tube at home and this fitted perfectly. It also arrived in 2 days and I did not have to pay extra shipping.
