Its oxygen sensor also alerts you to low concentration, incorrect concentration, and concentration sensor errors, so you're never left guessing whether your therapy is working as it should.

Yes. Supplemental oxygen is regulated by the FDA as a prescription item, so a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider is required before this device can ship, regardless of the brand or model.
Yes. It conforms to applicable FAA criteria for portable oxygen concentrator carriage and use on board aircraft. We recommend printing the FAA Travel Compliance Letter linked above and bringing it with you, since individual airlines may ask to see it at the gate.
Portable oxygen concentrators are often covered under Medicare Part B and many private insurance plans as durable medical equipment, though coverage details, rental versus purchase terms, and cost-sharing vary by plan. Check with your insurance provider directly to confirm your specific coverage.
Some patients with both sleep apnea and a separate respiratory condition are prescribed supplemental oxygen to use alongside their CPAP or BiPAP therapy. If your prescription calls for that combination, our ResMed AirCurve 10 VAuto and ResMed AirCurve 11 VAuto machines both support supplemental oxygen input at specified flow rates. Always follow your doctor's specific instructions for combining oxygen and PAP therapy.
Battery life depends on your flow setting, ranging from up to 5.4 hours on Setting 1 down to about 1.7 hours on Setting 6. See the battery duration table above for each setting.
Units purchased on or after January 1, 2026 include a 5 year warranty on the device, 2 years on the sieve bed, and 1 year on the battery. Units purchased before that date remain under their original warranty terms.
