The AirCurve 10 VAuto is one of ResMed's most advanced PAP therapy devices. As an auto-adjusting bilevel (BiPAP) machine, it delivers two separate pressure levels, a higher pressure to support inhalation and a lower pressure that makes exhaling easier, and continuously fine-tunes both throughout the night to detect and respond to respiratory disturbances as they happen.
The AirCurve 10 VAuto's dual-level settings are what set it apart from a standard CPAP. You get more air pressure support while inhaling (IPAP), and a lower, more comfortable pressure while exhaling (EPAP). Cycling automatically between the two, with a full pressure range of 2 to 25 cm H2O, gives this machine the flexibility to support patients who need more than a fixed single-pressure device can offer.
TiControl monitors the pattern of your inhalation and exhalation. If your breathing doesn't follow the machine's expected timing, TiControl adjusts the IPAP and EPAP pressure timing to bring therapy back in sync with how you actually breathe. It includes:
The AirCurve 10 VAuto uses Vsync technology to continuously monitor for mask leaks throughout the night. Rather than letting a leak throw off your therapy, Vsync adjusts the baseline pressure to compensate, keeping treatment effective even if your mask seal isn't perfect.
Built-in wireless connectivity links this unit to AirView, ResMed's cloud-based patient management system. AirView lets your qualified healthcare provider monitor your therapy and, when needed, adjust your settings remotely, without requiring an extra office visit.
The built-in HumidAir heated humidifier keeps therapy comfortable without taking up extra space on your nightstand. Adjust your humidity level anytime from the My Options screen on the machine, or pair it with ClimateLineAir heated tubing for automatic, temperature-controlled comfort.
With SmartStart, therapy begins as soon as you breathe into your mask and stops automatically once you remove it. AutoRamp delivers a lower pressure at first and gradually increases it as you fall asleep, so getting started with therapy each night feels easy rather than abrupt.
The AirCurve 10 VAuto automatically adjusts its screen brightness based on the light in your room, so checking your settings in the middle of the night doesn't mean a jarring, too-bright display.

Yes. Bilevel (BiPAP) machines are regulated medical devices in the United States, and typically require a more specific prescription than a standard CPAP, since they're prescribed for higher pressure needs or more complex forms of sleep apnea.
A standard CPAP delivers one constant pressure throughout the night. A BiPAP, like the AirCurve 10 VAuto, delivers two separate pressures, a higher one to support inhalation and a lower one for easier exhaling, and is typically prescribed for patients who need more pressure support or who have central or complex sleep apnea rather than obstructive sleep apnea alone. If your doctor has prescribed a standard CPAP instead, see our ResMed AirSense 11 AutoSet or ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet pages instead.
TiControl lets your provider set minimum and maximum time limits on either side of your natural breathing cycle, which can help patients with COPD or similar respiratory conditions get a fuller, more complete inhalation before the machine switches to the lower exhalation pressure.
Yes. The AirCurve 10 VAuto supports supplemental oxygen up to 15 L/min in S and CPAP mode, and up to 4 L/min in VAuto mode. An oxygen adapter is required for your mask or tubing.
About once a month under normal use, or sooner if it looks visibly dirty or damaged.
The AirCurve 10 VAuto includes a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.
