Philips Respironics designed this filter to be compatible with the DreamStation 2 CPAP machine and BiLevel machine. All DreamStation 2 CPAP and BiPAP machines require a pollen filter for you to use it.
This one-pack reusable pollen filter package includes one foam pollen DreamStation 2 filter in a gray carrier, which the white filter must stay within. You must keep it within its plastic filter housing.
By investing in a reusable filter like the DreamStation 2 filter for pollen, you won’t need to buy new filters regularly. Unlike disposable filters that you need to replace monthly, this reusable filter will last six months if you clean it properly.
If your filter appears damaged, you must replace it as soon as possible.
When using a reusable filter, it is essential to maintain a regular cleaning schedule for your filter. If not cleaned, your filter will become ineffective and have pollen buildup.
To ensure your filter operates perfectly for you, you should clean it every two weeks. If your filter becomes visibly dirty before the two weeks end, you should clean it sooner.
Your DreamStation 2 can use two filters at a time: this reusable foam pollen filter and the disposable ultra-fine filter. To use your DreamStation device, you must use the pollen filter, but the ultra-fine filter is optional. The ultra-fine filter is made of polyester fibers and pairs perfectly with the pollen filter to team up and catch all pollutants that contaminate the air you are breathing at night.
