The Pilot Flex is an auto-sensing dual voltage battery compatible with almost any sleep therapy device including 12V and 24V CPAP and BiPAP machines from ResMed, Respironics, React, and more.
Pilot-Flex can be used as a backup power source, to prevent interruption to PAP therapy in the event of a power outage, at home. Simply attach the Pilot-Flex in series between your CPAP and wall power and you're all set... If mains power goes out, due to a storm or other anomaly, Pilot-Flex will automatically take over ensuring you continue to receive uninterrupted sleep therapy. When the power comes back on Pilot-Flex will automatically recharge so it's ready the next time you need it.
Current FAA regulations allow Sleep Apnea Therapy Devices and Lithium Ion Batteries (like the one in this battery pack) to be carried onboard commercial flights; however it is always important to check with your airline prior to travel to determine exactly what requirements they have for carrying medical equipment on board.

With an average run time of 16 hours, Pilot-Flex will power most CPAP Machines for 1-2 nights between charges. Multiple Pilot-Flex batteries can also be piggybacked to extend run times. Using a heated humidifier, heated tubing, and other comfort features with a battery pack will significantly reduce run times. If required, extend run times by turning off heated humidifiers, heated tubing, and comfort features off when using a battery pack. Please read the instructions that come with your battery before use. Fully charge your Pilot-Flex battery before storage and re-charge at least once every 6 months thereafter. Failure to do this may limit future charging and/or damage the battery.
