Auto EPAP

Auto EPAP technology distinguishes between obstructed and clear airway apneas. Using an Auto-titrating algorithm allows the device to operate like an Auto CPAP or Auto BiPAP device and adjust when needed to maintain the airway. Auto EPAP adapts to changes in the user's needs such as a change in weight or medication.

Advanced back-up rate

Complex Sleep Apnea occurs when Central Sleep Apnea is experienced while being treated with a CPAP or BiPAP Machine for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The Advanced Back Up Rate of the autoSV helps to prevent this by encouraging spontaneous breathing at a natural rate for the user. This is accomplished by the system automatically calculating the backup rate to closely match the natural breathing rate.

Servo ventilation (SV) algorithm

The SV algorithm provides a smoother breathing pattern. By monitoring peak flow and changing pressure as needed on a breath by breath basis it supports a proper, stable breathing cycle. Bi-Flex Bi-Flex technology provides constant pressure relief to enhance the comfort of therapy and provide a more natural feel. Pressure is reduced by half centimeter increments during the transition from exhalation to inhalation, inhalation to exhalation and during exhalation. System One Resistance Control System One Resistance Control considers the resistance of the mask itself to help attain optimal pressure. PR employs a numbering system on all of its masks to reflect the variables of the mask and the number is entered at the time of set up. This compensates for the variance in pressures in each mask and provides a more consistent pressure.

Features

Automatically determines IPAP and EPAP pressures needed throughout each night.

Maintains optimal comfort for the patient without decreasing effectiveness or safety.

Digital Auto-Trak System with built-in leak detection ensures a breath-by-breath response to a patient’s breathing patterns.

BiPAP Auto SV Advanced machine reacts directly to periods of waning and waxing respiration by providing the appropriate level of therapy depending on the patient’s respiration patterns.

Designed especially for patients with certain diseases or disorders, such as: Congestive Heart Failure patients, or those with Cheyne-Stokes respiration.

Wider available pressure settings as well as more options to give the patient optimum control of their therapy.

Bi-Flex softens the air at inhalation and exhalation to provide more comfortable therapy

Integrated Humidification options help to improve compliance

Clinically proven algorithms, including the innovative Auto EPAP, continually monitor and adjust to a patient’s changing therapy needs.
