                                        ** Due to oProventverwelming demand

The incredible designers over at HDM really out did themselves with the Z1 CPAP. The Z1 is a exceptional CPAP machine that fits all the bells and whistles of a full size unit into just 10 oz's. The Z1 sets itself apart from other travel CPAP's and raises the bar higher than it's ever been by combining Z-Breathe pressure relief, a 26 dBH whisper quiet motor, a wide range of pressures, easy to read and share compliance data and the option of adding a battery all into a CPAP that is not much large than a cell phone.

Weighing in at just 10 oz's the Z1 has been refined, scaled down, and refined again to provide the user with the smallest most durable CPAP possible. The Z1 measures 2.02x6.48x3.3 inches. That is roughly the size of today’s cell phones. Don't let the size fool you; the Z1 is just as durable and capable as any other CPAP on the market. Not only has the Z1 been vigorously tested. It is backed by a 3 year manufacturer’s warranty. The only trouble you will experience with the Z1 is finding it in your carry-on!

Standard with the Z1 is a unique pressure relief system called Z-Breathe. Z-Breathe uses algorithms to learn your breathing patterns and adjusts itself to gently reduce pressure on exhalation and provide the user with a comfortable breathing experience that will be more natural and comfortable for the user. The user has the option of setting the Z-Breathe from minimum to maximum allowing the user to be in control of the Z-Breathe settings.

One question always asked is "Can I use my same mask"? The answer with the Z1 is YES! The Z1 includes a Universal Tube Adapter and a 4-foot SlimStyle tube that will with any current or future masks out on the market. Some users choose to use their standard tubing and that is fine also, however the included SlimStyle tubing is one of the lightest tubing’s available today.

If you plan on using the Z1 for travel there is more good news. The Z1 comes complete with Auto Altitude Adjustment up to 8000 feet above sea level and automatically adjusts to airplane cabin pressure. If you plan on traveling outside of the U.S. leave your adapters at home. The Z1 comes with a Universal Power Supply that will automatically convert the voltage anywhere in the world so all you have to worry about is getting good nights sleep.

But is it quiet? Yes! With an average of 26dBA the Z1 is one of the quietest CPAP's on the market. The designers at HDM engineered the Z1 to be whisper quiet so you won't lose a moments sleep because of noise from the machine.

If you are use to using the ramp feature on your current CPAP you can continue to enjoy it with your new Z1. The ramp can be set anywhere between 0-45 minutes. If you are new to CPAP the ramp feature will allow you to start your therapy pressure at a low setting and gradually ramp up to your prescribed pressure. This will allow you to fall asleep while your CPAP is still on a low setting.

Are the type of person that loves metrics or have to report compliance to your job, the Z1 is perfect for you. The Z1 comes with free compliance reporting software that is not only easy to read, it allows you to send your compliance to your work or doctor with a couple of key strokes. The Z1 not only reports the time of use, it also records your events also. This information is great for keeping track of your therapy progress and the easy to use interface will allow you to easily read the data. The compliance software is currently set up to be used with any Windows PC. Don't worry OSX users. Your version is right around the corner.

If you are a CPAP user that prefers the option of added humidification the Z1 has you covered. Included with your Z1 are two disposable HME waterless Humidification Filters. The HME stands for Heat Moisture Exchange , what HME  does is allow the CPAP to use your exhalations to provide increased humidity to keep your airways from drying out while using your Z1. This feature is great for those that don't want to be bothered with a bulky water based humidifier. If you do want to use a humidifier you can. The Z1 was made to be compatible with the external Fisher and Paykel HC150 Humidifier

Unique to the Z1 is an Intelligent LCD display that will allow you to easily access your current pressure and therapy settings. Z1 users will appreciate that the display is large and backlit so you don't have to turn on a light to see your settings. Not only does it light up, it will automatically turn itself off so you can fall back to sleep when you’re finished with it.

Z1 users will be impressed with the Automatic Leak Compensation. The Z1 will not only detect if there is a small leak it will actually compensate for the leakage so you will still get your prescribed therapy. That is something that most full size CPAP's don't even do. If the Z1 senses a large leak that could impact your therapy, it will send you a warning on the display screen so you can get the leak fixed and maintain proper therapy.

Z1 users can also purchase the optional Integrated Battery Pack. If you are going to be away from steady power for a length of time.

When I travel, I like to keep things minimal. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with this little travel cpap. I love the comparison it shows next to the phone, because that really is how compact it really is. So well worth the money. Simple and fantastic.
